Norris & Tunstall Consulting Engineers, P.C. (N&T) is a consulting Civil Engineering firm located in Wilmington, NC. Our firm services a wide client base in Southeastern North Carolina. We are seeking an intelligent and innovative professional to join our team.
Job Overview:
Civil Engineer position will perform planning and design tasks for stormwater, water and wastewater utilities, as well as civil design tasks associated with A&E multi-discipline projects. The position will be technically involved in detailed civil design work, detailed review of work completed by others, coordination of civil and non-civil designs on multi-discipline projects, as well as resolution of construction issues that may include performing field investigations.
Accountabilities:
• Development of Designs in CAD
• Complete Civil Engineering Design Computations
• Development of Sanitary Collection Systems & Pump Stations
• Development of Stormwater Conveyance Systems Computer Models
• Hydraulic Water System Modeling
• Stormwater BMP Design & Modeling
• Work Closely with Other Disciplines on Multi-Discipline Projects
• Provide Input and Be Involved with Proposals, Work Scope, Work Schedule and Budgets
Knowledge:
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering is Required
EI Certification is Required
Related Work Experience is a Plus
Proficiency in AutoCAD and AutoCAD Civil 3D is a Plus
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint is a Plus
Proficiency in ArcGIS is a Plus
Proficiency in WaterCAD, HydroCAD, SewerCAD, Hydraflow and PondPack is a Plus
