Big iron, ready to work 💪 Our service team assisted with the assembly of this Link-Belt 348 Series 2 in Haverhill, MA for our partners at The Middlesex Corporation.

The 348 is a powerhouse on the jobsite, with 300 tons of lifting capacity and up to 355 ft of boom. With a machine this size, proper and safe assembly matters, and our team is here to help with your crane assembly and disassembly needs.

Shout out to our MA road service team, who were out on an engine replacement for one of our partners last week. Hauling a 110-ton RT to a shop means a heavy-haul trailer, permits and more downtime. With a fully equipped service truck, our techs can take on bigger repairs like this in the field, so the crane stays on the job.

It's with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Scott Perren. Scott was part of the CRW family for 27 years, and to a lot of contractors here he was a friend first and a salesman second. He brought a lot of people to CRW and made them feel at home once they got here. His relationships with customers lasted decades. For Scott, this was a career, not just a job. He was exceptional at what he did, and he loved doing it. Through two years of fighting cancer, he kept showing up for his customers and for the CRW team.

The visitation is tonight, Monday 10/5, from 4 to 7pm at Ready Funeral Home. The burial is tomorrow, Tuesday, at 11am at Lakeview Cemetery. Anyone who knew Scott is welcome to join. In lieu of flowers, his family asks that you donate blood with the American Red Cross or give to the Mike Loyer Foundation. If you have a memory of Scott, please share it on his tribute wall. It's going into a keepsake book for his kids, Kristina, Aiden and Gunnar.
