What a fantastic week at the NEHPBA event in Waltham, MA!

We want to extend a sincere thank you to everyone who stopped by the New England Chimney Supply booth and spent time connecting with our team. Events like these remind us how strong and passionate the hearth industry truly is.

It was especially great to hear Jill McClure, President & CEO of HPBA, kick off the conference and help set the tone for an engaging and productive event.

We appreciate the opportunity to meet with so many dealers, installers, and industry partners, and we're excited to continue the conversations and opportunities that started this week.

Flashing might not be the first thing your customers notice, but when it fails, it can lead to some serious problems.

Here are 3 signs flashing is on its way out:

🚩 Rust or corrosion
If the metal is deteriorating, it’s no longer doing its job of keeping water out.

🚩 Loose or lifting edges
Flashing should sit tight against the chimney and roof. Gaps = water entry waiting to happen.

🚩 Water stains or leaks inside
By the time you see interior damage, the flashing has likely already failed.

Catching these early can save your customers from major repairs, and give you an easy opportunity to provide a real solution.
