Turning a clean surface on a customers swage, the tiny silver marks you might notice on the beveled edge of the cut are showing hardened surface material from field use. A trim to the desired diameter, a quick polish, and the tool has new life!

Using our old Lodge and Shipley manual lathe to turn clean the ends of this shaft for a customer. Centering the part and ensuring travels and clearance was a a bit of a task.

Job Purpose : Use all available machinery and measuring/gauging equipment to produce, repair, and modify tools/parts as directed.

Starting Pay DOE ($20-$28)
