Prism is looking for a VACTOR TRUCK/VAC-CON OPERATOR

Experienced wash truck operator for the purpose of cleaning sanitary sewer & storm water pipes. Perform preventative maintenance programs, heavy cleaning & root cutting. Additionally, clean sanitary sewer systems located in easements and remove debris via catch baskets.
Specific Job Responsibilities:

· Clean Sanitary Sewer Systems

· Clean Storm Water Systems

· Root cutting via mechanical cutters

· Easement Cleaning

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

· Strong work ethic

· Minimum 1-year Wash (Vactor, VacCon, Camel) Truck Experience

· Mechanical Cutting Experience (Root, Grease, Tap Cutting)

· Capable of lowering and removing suction tubes alone

Capable of installing hydrant meters alone

Required Qualifications:

Valid Driver’s License – with no major infractions over the last 3 years
CDL Required (Class B with Tanker Endorsement, but Class A Preferred)
Pre-employment drug screen
Able to travel for work
Willing to work overtime

CCTV OPERATOR

Performs CCTV inspection of Sanitary Sewer & Storm Water Systems daily. Inspections are performed as required by preventative maintenance programs and in response to system failures in emergency situations. Determines optimum method of conducting an inspection based on field conditions. Performs routine maintenance and inspection of camera equipment and keeps equipment in good operating condition.

Specific Job Responsibilities:

Inspect Sanitary Sewer & Storm Water Pipes with CCTV equipment.
Inspect Sanitary Sewer Lateral Services with CCTV equipment.
Determine the optimum method of conducting an inspection based upon field conditions.
Produce Daily Reports of inspections completed.
Maintain CCTV equipment in good operating condition.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

2-years CCTV Inspection experience of Sanitary Sewer or Storm Water
Ability to complete applicable reports, records, and related administrative tasks
Strong work ethic
Works independently
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Ability to perform maintenance on CCTV equipment.

Required Qualifications:

NASSCO PACP/MACP Certified
Valid Driver’s License with no major infractions for past 3 years
CDL Required (Class B with Tanker Endorsement, but Class A Preferred)
Pre-employment drug screen
Willing to travel for work
Able to work overtime

Engineer/Project Engineer

The right candidate will plan, design and oversee projects to include bid preparation, field visits, inspection and rehabilitation of sanitary sewer and storm water infrastructure. Duties will include being responsible for performing and directing the work in all aspects of project planning, design and plan preparation as well as ensuring sites meet legal guidelines and health & safety requirements, assessing the risks and environmental effects of a project and managing & directing progress during each phase of a project.

Specific Job Responsibilities:

Provide full-life cycle project management of sanitary sewer and storm water infrastructure projects.
Prepare and complete written correspondence and reports such as specifications, cost estimates, bids, project documentation etc.
Develop, document, and implement viable management plans.
Supervise and direct project team members to ensure promptness of schedule within budget and requirements.
Prepare technical and price proposals, in addition to reports and studies.
Attend pre-construction meetings, analyze requirements, and order materials.
Coordinate and interact with subcontractors, inspectors, and clients.
Provide leadership, technical instructions, and information on engineering and other technical requirements to field operators.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Excellent interpersonal, presentation and oral and written communication skills
Project Management experience
Ability to learn new technologies quickly and understand potential uses.
Arc GIS experience preferred.
Uses CAD software and equipment to prepare engineering and design documents.
Sanitary Sewer and Storm Water Infrastructure experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office
The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
The capacity to plan effectively and prioritize tasks while maintaining technical knowledge.
The desire to learn new things and keep up to date with developments in the field.

Required Qualifications:

Must be a VA Licensed Professional Engineer
10+ years’ experience
Valid Driver’s License with no major infractions for past 3 years
