Well, in the absence of suggestions, I'm going to propose next Monday or Tuesday for a socially-distant practice. Would one of these work for the interested parties?

It sounds as though a number of you would be interested in getting together for a practice! Perhaps we might plan for some afternoon next week? What days would be possibilities for you?

Dear Cricketers,

A couple of us trotted out the cricket gear over the weekend at the Regency Society's socially-distant picnic at Bacon's Castle and quite enjoyed ourselves. It seemed a simple enough matter to play safely if we just eliminated scoring and focused on practicing bowling and striking. Would anybody be interested in trying to get together using similar precautions some afternoon before the weather turns too cold and dark?

Hey, folks! There has been a suggestion that we might get together for dinner as a team sometime in the next couple of months, since obviously the practice season is over. I think it's a great idea! Is this something that would appeal to many of you? If so, when and where? Let me know in the comments and we'll see if we can plan something!

We're going to practice on Thursday at 6 again this week. Please consider joining us, even if you haven't been in a while. We really need you all--cricket is a lot of fun, but it's even more enjoyable when you're surrounded by friends and fielders.
