Our Story

In 2013, Ohio-based engineer and entrepreneur Matthew Roeser seized an opportunity to take his extensive experience in the field of power generation, and create his own business that served to provide mobile generators to the oil and gas industry. His company, eNGines-LPG, focused on clean-burning natural gas (NG) and propane (LPG) power sources.

The Wildcat Power Gen story began five years later, in 2018, when Roeser envisioned a new line of mobile power generators. Paying homage to the pioneering spirit of the gas and oil explorers who used his equipment as well as his commitment to using cleaner fuels, he dubbed the new brand “Wildcat.”

Roeser purchased an a 72,500 square-foot former bread bakery in the heart of Hutchinson, Kansas. Creating a manufacturing and research and development facility as well as a central headquarters, Roeser’s vision includes employing more than 50 members of the local community, and working with community leaders to contribute to the resurgence of Hutchinson’s thriving downtown.
