Like father, like son. 💙

Today Tom and Nick were out making deliveries to PIH, and this one made me smile. Nick is proudly wearing his Papa Mike’s old AME shirt while helping out on the job. ❤️

Papa’s shirt has seen a lot of hard work over the years, and now it’s Nick’s turn to carry on that same work ethic. Don’t worry though… we’ve got an official AME shirt with Nick on it coming soon! 😉

Summer around here doesn’t always mean sleeping in and video games…it means learning responsibility, serving our community, and making memories together.

Some places hold more than memories…they hold a legacy. 🤍

We’re honored to share a special addition to AME: a showcase dedicated to Mike Loya.

To many, he was part of the AME family. To me, he was my Dad.

Long before AME, there were the 3 Alarm Pizza days, where he poured his heart into serving people, building relationships, and creating community. Those same qualities followed him everywhere he went, including here at AME.

One of my favorite pieces in this display is his piano. Music was a part of who he was, and now his piano has found a home here. It feels like a beautiful reminder that while he may no longer be with us physically, his spirit, kindness, and love continue to fill these halls. ♥️

I haven’t spent much time at AME since Dad passed. Walking back through these doors has brought a flood of memories, both joyful and heartbreaking. As I was filming this video, this song began to play, and I couldn’t help but feel that it was exactly what my heart needed in that moment. 🥹

We miss him every day, but we’re grateful to preserve a small piece of his story for everyone who knew and loved him…and for those who never had the chance.

Thank you, Dad, for the legacy you left behind. We’ll carry it forward with love. 🤗

🚑 “When you see the lights, move to the right!” 🚑

Throwing it back to 1992 when AME was out on the streets, saving lives and serving the community. Here’s a rare snapshot of our very own (back then) John Kirstenpfad and Ken Nakatsumi behind the wheel of the “2-Mary” #35 ambulance, the pride of our fleet back then.

Though AME has evolved over the years and no longer provides ambulance services, our commitment to the Whittier community remains as strong as ever. Today, we continue to support your healthcare needs through reliable and quality Durable Medical Equipment (DME).
