Here at Patriot we love our furry family members. To help support the City of Longview's recent microchip program to reunite strays with their owners, Pickle and Maple Syrup (both rescue pups) worked to provide two new public scanner stations. Now anyone can scan a stray pet and help it get back to its family any time day or night. These stations provide information about how to use the scanner and resources to call. These two newest ones, located at the Kilgore Public Library and the White Oak Police Department, are in addition to the ones at Broughton Rec Center, Gladewater City Hall and Toyota of Longview.
Anyone interested in getting their pets economically chipped can contact Longview Animal Care and Adoption Center for details or simply ask your trusted vet. It's easy and it works.
