New Delivery: Gresham Fire Department

Cascade Fire is proud to announce the delivery of a new Legacy Brush Truck Type 6 to Gresham Fire Department in Gresham, Oregon.

This Legacy unit is built on an aluminum flatbed with modular aluminum boxes, providing a durable, versatile platform for wildland and emergency response operations. It features a 400-gallon water tank, 10-gallon integrated foam cell, and a Darley 1.5 AGE pump powered by a 24-horsepower Kubota diesel motor.

The pump package includes stainless steel plumbing, Cascade Fire valves, a laser-finished stainless steel control panel, a live hose tray, and a Hannay hose reel for reliable and efficient fireground performance.

Additional features include a Buckstop bumper and a Whelen emergency lighting package, making this Type 6 brush truck a capable and mission-ready addition to Gresham Fire Department’s fleet.

Cascade Fire is proud to announce the delivery of a new Frontier Brush Truck Type 6 to Garberville Fire Department in Garberville, California.

This rugged Frontier unit features an open-top design and is built for wildland response, off-road access, and dependable firefighting performance. It is equipped with a 400-gallon water tank, 10-gallon separate foam tank, CF120 centrifugal pump, stainless steel plumbing, Cascade Fire valves, stainless steel control panel, and a Hannay hose reel.

Additional upgrades include a Buckstop Super Single kit and a Whelen emergency lighting package, giving Garberville Fire Department a capable and mission-ready apparatus for the challenging terrain and response needs of Northern California.

Big funding opportunity for fire departments nationwide.

FEMA has opened $648 million in grant funding to help departments strengthen operations, improve safety, and get the resources they need to serve their communities.

At Cascade Fire, we know budgets are tight and the right funding can make a major difference when it comes to purchasing equipment, upgrading apparatus, supporting personnel, and improving firefighter safety.

Three FEMA grant programs are currently open through June 22:

• Assistance to Firefighters Grant: $291.6M available for equipment, vehicles, PPE, and responder wellness
• Staffing for Adequate Fire and Emergency Response: $324M available to support hiring, recruitment, and retention
• Fire Prevention and Safety Grant Program: $32.4M available for fire prevention initiatives and firefighter safety research
