Sadly an end of an era is here. M. H. Harden Hardware will close its doors on March 15th 2015. The old wood floors can tell many a story of customer service where you were greeted by name and credit was extended on a handshake. It’s what we at M. H. Harden’s have done for 70 years. The future may hold an opportunity to reopen the business or repurpose the building but at this time we are forced to face the reality of the times. Let me say from the founder Morris Hannon “Hap” Harden, to owners Leo Chrietzberg then Jimmy Garnett thank you all who patronized and traded with us over the years. I extend a special thank you to Jimmy and his wife Priscella for allowing my wife Therese and I (as well as Junior, Andy, Zack (aka Josh) and Eddy) an opportunity to continue the tradition of serving you as the hometown hardware store since 1945.

Until we close we will have some great deals on CASH and carry items. We will not price items over the phone or on social media (only in person). Store hours until we close the doors are now 8am to 5pm Monday thru Friday (Saturday by appointment only). Our equipment rental business will continue (as well as expand) just down the street at 415 Company St (Coosa River Adventures location). If you have questions call or stop in.
