Rate of pay will be based on applicant's skill level.

Shift Hours/Premium:

* First Shift hours are Monday-Thursday, 5:30 AM to 4:00 PM.
* Second Shift hours are Monday – Thursday, 4:00 P.M. to 2:30 A.M. (Includes $2.00 Shift Premium)
* Additional overtime as needed

General Responsibilities:

* Proficient in GMAW (Gas Metal Arc Welding) on mild steel
* Proficient in blueprint reading and weld symbols to comply with standards
* Lay out, align, fit and weld fabricated steel components to assemble structural forms
* Accurately measure weld sizes with proper gauges
* Record production times use to ensure accuracy of labor tracking, production control
* Perform routine inspection and preventative maintenance on weld machines
* Select and set up weld equipment
* Communicate between supervisors, quality management, engineering and production floor to solve any fit-up problems, print errors, and/or inconsistencies
* Follow detailed instructions, working in a timely fashion to comply with allotted time and ship dates
* Ability to respond quickly to priority changes and work well under pressure due to scheduling constraints and perform quality work in a safe and efficient manner

Qualifications:

* Must have 5 years of GMAW welding and fabrication experience
* Must pass AWS D1.1 qualification test and written weld test to be considered for employment
* Skilled in technique for finish grinding/polishing

This position is responsible for the daily setup and operation of the laser cutting machine. This position will also assist other CNC operators with any of their daily duties including area housekeeping, maintenance work, and material staging. May be required to serve as backup for other positions as directed.

Experience / Qualifications:
• 2+ years set-up and operating experience
• Previous metal fabrication background
• Dimensional measuring and shop math competence
• Basic computer skills
• Capable of using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools
• Ability to read and understand blueprints
• Effective communication skills to discuss and understand work procedures, training, general direction and other issues with co-workers and supervisor
• Maintain excellent attendance record
• Flexible to work overtime if needed
• 2+ years manufacturing experience

Duties and Responsibilities of the Job:

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Set-up and operate fabrication equipment
• Select, load, and install correct tooling
• Determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work pieces
• Perform quality inspections of parts to produce products that exceed customer's expectations
• Stage completed product on skids
• Work from work orders, verbal and written instruction, routing, samples, blueprints
• Maintain good housekeeping in work area
• Act responsibly to follow safe operating practices

ADC Equipment Innovations is seeking a skilled and precise manual Machinist to set up and operate machinery for fabricating, altering, and repairing machine parts, equipment, and tools. The ideal candidate will be able to work well under minimal supervision. You must also understand how to read mechanical blueprints, perform calculations, calibrate and maintain machinery, and make cuts with precision to create products that meet quality standards. We would prefer to hire a candidate that has attended a trade school, but we will accept experience in its place.

Sets up and operates manual band saw to perform cutting operations on raw material. Operates hand grinder and other hand tools. Moves material as needed. Uses scales and gauges. Changes saw blades or grinding disks as needed.

Machinist Duties and Responsibilities

· Use a variety of precision and cutting tools and equipment, such as a drill press, band saw, lathe, mill
· Cut, shape, and fabricate tools and machine parts
· Read and follow blueprints
· Ensure all work meets quality standards, instructions, and specifications
· Understand and comply with industry regulations
· Regularly clean, maintain, and repair machinery and equipment as needed

Machinist Requirements and Qualifications

· High school diploma or GED certificate; trade school preferred
· At least three years of related experience
· The ability to perform basic math and follow instructions
· Physical fitness and the ability to lift 50 pounds
· Mechanical aptitude to use a variety of industry tools and machinery
· Strong analytical skills, precision, and attention to detail

Description
Operates a powder gun, conventional spray gun or other equipment to apply industrial paint finishes on metals or products. Pretreats metal products and monitors pH levels to ensure desired results. Mixes paints and other solutions and monitors drying to ensure desired results. Completes finishing with baking, polishing or other materials. Follows all required safety procedures. May paint items by hand as needed. May be required to serve as backup for other positions as directed.

General Responsibilities:

Ø Ensure safe working environment

Ø Prepare surface of components and large weldments to be powder coated or painted by removing burrs, slag, rust, and scale

Ø Hang parts from racks, blasts, washes, dries parts, and applies an even coating of powder and/or liquid paint to meet Customer standards

Ø Perform quality inspections of parts to produce products that exceed customer’s expectations

Ø Confers with Engineering, Supervisory and Manufacturing personnel to exchange technical information.

Ø Work from work orders, verbal and written instruction, routing, samples, blueprints

Ø Complete all required shop paperwork accurately and neatly

Ø Follow instructions and document operations as required

Ø Maintain good housekeeping in work area

Ø Implement Lean manufacturing practices where applicable

Education:

High school diploma or GED required; two years of manufacturing experience is preferred.
Training generally applicable to manufacturing methods and techniques.

Experience:

§ 1 year of production painting

§ Possess some computer skills and can learn new skills as needed
