Last Call: the final 18 makers are here. 🎉
Six days to go! This is the final installment of our Meet the Makers series, and these 18 brands will join us on October 28 at The Salt Shed:

MP Lighting · OCL Architectural Lighting · Paramount Lighting / FC | SSL Lighting - US Commercial Lighting Manufacturer · Pinnacle Architectural Lighting · PureEdge Lighting · RBW · Specialty Lighting Industries · Spectrum Lighting, Inc. · Structura, Inc · The Lighting Quotient · TMB · Vari-Lite · Vode Lighting · Wattstopper Products · Wisconsin Lighting Lab, Inc. · Zaniboni Lighting

That’s all 47 booths. Pinnacle Architectural Lighting and OCL Architectural Lighting round out the Legrand Listening Lounge, and Vode Lighting LLC will present a CEU presentation.

One more to highlight: Archetype Services will have a booth too. Their factory-trained local technicians handle lighting control system start-ups, programming, and warranty service, so it’s a great chance to meet the team that helps make controls projects work once the products are on the wall.

Chicago Lightworks had a great time at She Builds’ SHE LEVELS UP poker night at Bridgeport Art Center.

Guests learned the game from Chicago-based, women-led Poker Power, making it a welcoming night for beginners and seasoned players alike, all in support of women building careers in the construction trades.

It was wonderful to spend the evening with these incredible women in the industry (and many more): Maria Cordova (Active Electrical Supply Co), Susan Mueller (Chicago Lightworks), Tiffany Johnsen (Evergreen Supply Company + She Builds board member), Molly Wolf (Chicago Lightworks), Allena Oraha (Maron Electric), and Paola Sprenzel (Leopardo Construction).

With games, a lively raffle, and plenty of electric energy, the evening brought the lighting and design community together to support scholarships, alumni support, and professional development for students exploring careers in architecture, construction, engineering, design, and more.

Thank you to ACE Mentor Chicago, Elston Electric, the organizers, partners, and everyone who made it such a fun and meaningful night!

Chicago Lightworks recently traveled to the charming Kingston, New York, to visit the RBW factory, followed by a visit to the RBW showroom in Manhattan.

From discovering future innovations and learning about RBW’s manufacturing process to making a fixture (and dumplings) together, the experience offered a firsthand look at the craftsmanship and people behind the products.

Thank you to Hasan Sanli, Russell Pierce, and the entire RBW team for the warm welcome, shared knowledge, and partnership. Seeing the work behind the products makes every connection stronger.

Celebrating summer, milestones, and the people who make Chicago Lightworks and Archetype Services special!

Our 2026 CLW Summer Party included tacos, an ice cream bar, trivia, games, snacks, and plenty of laughter and joy.

We also celebrated five-year anniversaries for Elizabeth Patterson, Patrick Rafferty, and Trisha Orjales of CLW, and Jacob Menheer of ATS—recognizing Elizabeth’s insight, Patrick’s tenacity, Trisha’s positive energy and roll-up-your-sleeves attitude, and Jacob’s remarkable growth and intelligence.

Five years is an incredible milestone, and each of them has made a lasting impact on our teams and the work we do. We’re grateful for all they contribute and excited for what’s ahead.
