We will be open and operational Monday regardless of the amount of snow that we receive. Parts pulled and deliveries will likely be on pause until we get cleaned up and Open again on Tuesday.

A few weeks ago a good friend and the director of ARA The Automotive Recyclers Association stopped by to do a podcast with me. I listen to them all the time and this is the first time I have gotten to participate in one.

I know its a long listen, so I don't expect all to be able to do it. But I had fun and I answered very honestly so maybe it will give all my friends a better window into what I do for a living and some fun facts about work and my family.

We have an opening here at Condon's for someone to help with our online ecommerce sales including listing and selling on eBay.

Pay based on experience with the eBay platform. $17-25 per hour plus commission on sales.

Please don't apply if you can't say yes to 2 out of the 3 skill sets. This is not an entry level position.
1.) eBay Experience
2.) Deep Understanding of cars and parts
3.) Very comfortable navigating and working with computers and the internet platforms for sales.

On Saturday night my daughters dance company decorated a float in the Holiday Light Parade in Westminster, MD. They did a great job with the decorations and we got lots of nice comments from folks along the route.

Great way to start the Christmas season.

Customer Service play of the day.

If you saw our last post about the accident, that shut the access to our business off for anyone that didn't know that they could still squeeze into Martin Dr. So a customer that was on the way to get a part called our sales team and arranged for Preston to bring the fender to the top of the cornfield adjacent to our property. She was able to get close but not close enough to get the part quickly. So preston hoped in our SxS and went to meet her. Thanks for going above and beyond to do your job Preston. We are proud to have you on our team.

I am a firm believer in what comes around goes around. As a business our first priority is to make money. Its what keeps you in business. But everything you do doesn't need to generate income. Sometimes you just need to do whats right to help those around you.

Our stretch of road is prone to accidents. So when a neighbor called and told me of another one I ran out to first make sure it wasn't involving anyone I knew. Second to make sure everyone was OK. After that the fun started.

At first the MSP didn't want us to touch the tractor because they had the Commercial Vehicle Department coming. So we sat on the side lines. But the lines of tractor trailers were growing that couldn't turn around like the "4wheelers" can.

After they realized it was going to be a while they OK'ed us to move the tractor and trailer out of the south bound lane so they could move traffic thru. Then we found out they needed to put stay dry down and wait a period of time. So we ran back to the shop to get some to lessen the time they had to wait to open the road back up. Unfortunately the state highway truck got there right as we finished spreading the stay dry on the roads.

They quickly opened the road back up and got things moving. Thanks to Matt, Moe and Greg for doing your good deed for the day.
