It is with great sadness that we share the passing of our longtime friend and coworker, James “Bubba.”

Bubba has been part of the Lumberyard and Hardware Store since he was just 14 years old. This place was truly a second home to him, and he dedicated most of his life to serving our customers, helping his coworkers, and being a steady, familiar face to so many in the community.

He was one of the sweetest, kindest people you could ever meet. Always willing to lend a hand, give you the shirt off of his back and was always able to make someone smile, while constantly putting others before himself. And if you ever talked to him long enough, you knew how much he loved his dog. His absence will be felt deeply within our store and throughout the community he cared so much about.

Please keep his family and friends in your thoughts and prayers.
