We’re Hiring!

We’re excited to announce that we are experiencing fantastic growth and are looking to fill several open positions! We need a core maker to craft sand cores, a shipper/shot blast operator to blast poured castings and prepare shipments, and a detail grinder operator in our finishing department to ensure that our castings shine for our customers.

At West Salisbury Foundry, we are thrilled to provide a range of generous benefits for our employees, including a no-premium health insurance plan with a $2,000 deductible. This month, we are celebrating a remarkable achievement—our October employees have a collective 96 years of experience. Leading the way is Terry Brown, our core maker, who proudly marks an impressive 41 years with us. He is joined by Leroy Shroyer, our grinder, who has devoted 31 years to the team. George Cook from our pattern warehouse is celebrating 6 years, while our pin lift molders, Lonny Doyle and Caleb Murray, mark 2 years and 8 years, respectively. Additionally, Tanner Shearer, our furnace tender, has also reached the 8-year milestone.

Scott Sroka, the Controller in our Pittsburgh office, is also celebrating his 5-year anniversary with the company this October.

We are thrilled to celebrate our amazing employees who marked their work anniversaries over the summer! In June, Bryant Most, our rollover molder, reached 4 years. In July, we acknowledged Brad Deffenbaugh, our rollover molder, who has 6 years, and Production Supervisor Brian Most, who has dedicated an impressive 31 years to the company. In August, we recognized Tyler Geiger, our core maker, for completing his 1st year, and in September, we celebrated Owen Crissey for reaching 2 years.

In the Pittsburgh office, Pete Smith marked 53 years with the company, while Maddie Wilson-Smith reached her 3-year milestone in June.

Our parent company, Pittsburgh Foundry, was happy to help kick off the new AFS Student Chapter and Forge Club at the University of Pittsburgh. With over 50 students attending and learning the casting process from the new student chapter board members, it was a great evening of metal casting in Pittsburgh.
