In honor of , we at Trebor would like to spotlight Frank S. Greene, PH.D. (Oct. 19, 1938 – Dec. 26, 2009), an African American who made significant contributions to the technology field. Mr. Greene joined Fairchild Semiconductor's R&D labs in Sunnyvale, CA in 1965, where he played a crucial role in developing a high-speed computer memory system.

After his time at Fairchild, he founded Technology Development Corporation, a company specializing in computer software and technical services. In recognition of his achievements, Mr. Greene was inducted into the Silicon Valley Engineering Hall of Fame in 2001. The same year, the Frank S. Greene Scholars Program was created to offer access to educational opportunities in mathematics and science for grades K-12.

Let us celebrate his enduring legacy during this Black History Month and honor his immense impact on .
