We are seeking a PE licensed Municipal Engineer to join our team and help manage our growing workload in Chester and Delaware Counties, Pennsylvania.

West Chester based, Yerkes Associates, Inc., a cirilli company since 1874, is one of the oldest established firms in greater Chester County, PA and has an immediate full-time job opening for a Civil/Site Development Inspector.

Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in performing Site observations to determine compliance with approved plans and municipal requirements, as well as ensuring acceptable work quality. Site Observation experience must include storm sewers, sanitary sewers, utility installations, road construction, storm water management facilities, culverts, curbing, paving, sidewalks, walking trails, grading, and E & S controls.

The ability to write thorough inspection reports a must. BS or associate's degree (civil engineering) a plus.

Valid PA Driver’s License, excellent writing skills, the ability to work in a team environment, easily understands & interprets Site Plans are a must. Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to respond with professionalism to specific complaints to resolve issues between landowners, builders, developers, and municipalities also are a must. Knowledge of Word and Excel, and Zoning Experience are a plus.

Yerkes Associates, Inc is pleased to announce the addition of Amber Jackson, EIT to our team. A quick learner with a great attitude, and lots of energy, Amber has immediately stepped in with our Yerkes teams providing; civil site inspections ensuring compliance with civil / site improvements, and general plan reviews.

A former (4-year) varsity softball player at Widener University, in her spare time, Amber continues to play at a high-level competing in National Softball Tournaments throughout the country, in addition to enjoying spending quality time with her family.
