We’re looking for a motivated and dependable Experienced Crew Chief to lead our field operations. If you enjoy working outdoors, leading a crew, and taking pride in a job well done — this could be the perfect fit.

🔧 Position: Experienced Crew Chief
📍 Location: Weatherford, TX
💼 Employment Type: Full-Time

What You’ll Be Doing:
As a Crew Chief, your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

Ensuring the work truck is fully equipped each day

Carrying instruments and field equipment (hammer, stakes, lathes, hubs, nails, etc.)

Executing tasks and instructions from supervisors

Clearing brush or trees from the survey line

Working in various outdoor conditions (heat, cold, rain)

Position may involve occasional short-term travel outside the local area

What We’re Looking For:
Good communication skills with management and coworkers
Ability to follow instructions and pay attention to detail
Hardworking, dependable, and able to multitask
Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation required
Experience in construction staking
Previous experience as a Crew Chief is required

Compensation & Benefits:
Pay is based on experience

Fun Fact!!

Property Ownership Was Announced with a Bang (or Shout!): Early land grants even required the grantee to be informed of their property ownership "in a loud voice," to which the grantee would respond by "throwing rocks, shouting aloud, firing guns, and making other and sundry noises". This was a vivid way of publicly establishing property lines.
