One of our customers sent this spindle to us in a nearly seized condition. Upon disassembly and evaluation, we found catastrophic bearing failure and evidence that the spindle had been flooded with coolant. Due to the customer's request for a rapid turnaround, our team prioritized the repair and completed a full spindle rebuild. The spindle was repaired, tested, and shipped back to the customer in less than 10 days, helping to minimize downtime and get their operation back up and running as quickly as possible.

Customer sent in this Matsuura spindle stating they felt a clicking noise within spindle and suspected bad bearings. After evaluation we determined the #1 bearing catastrophically failed and the 40 ID Big Plus taper needed grind/plate/grind work. They are now back up and running and happy with the repair!!
