Got new shoes for the 250…. Can finally work on fabricating the fenders. If this works how I have it figured in my head it will be something I’ve never seen done before 🤞🏻

Got some flat black rat rod wheels for the 250 gallon rig. Hopefully grab tires in the next few weeks so I can start fitting the fenders.

I needed to swap the radiator in my truck and neighbors a diesel mechanic who needs a new fire place rack…. Some 3/4” round bar and each of us used a few hours of our time. Pretty decent trade for us both 💯

There’s only a few people who I have told about why I’m doing this…. The answer will probably surprise you. It is not as obvious as it looks but it’s all based on utilizing every last bit of these old tanks. When I say this smoker is a hot rod….. it’s more than the old time automotive elements I’ve tried to incorporate into the look…. It’s also the grassroots thought process of using any and every piece possible to save money but create an inspiring rig to be admired. I got the circle cutter guide idea from YouTube channel. He is a wealth of knowledge and skill! 🔥

Got a bit more done tonight…. I’ve had people ask me what the space between the cooker and live fire table is for…. It’s to slide folding tables into. There is tie down loops to secure them. The passenger side front corner of the trailer is for a cooler to be secured there. Also there are tie down loops on the tongue a frame to lay your EZ up across and strap it down. I’ve designed this to be a show piece…. Something we can put your BBQ logo on and use this rig for festivals. Whether you’re an established restaurant or up and comer, this rig will draw plenty of attention wherever you go 🔥
