Last week, BJ Farra returned to UW-Stevens Point to speak with CIS students about preparing for careers in IT. He shared insights on what employers look for and how students can stand out.

As BJ said:
“Sharing first-hand what employers are looking for… is a way of giving back to the university. The CIS Program helped prepare me for my profession, and I hope current students can say the same.”

We had an incredible night last night at the HATCH Pitch Competition!

Huge thanks to Charlie Walker, the Chippewa Economic Development Corporation, and Eastbay Lodge for hosting such a great event honoring veterans and celebrating entrepreneurs.

We loved hearing from so many talented innovators. Shoutout to our very own Jeff Dirks for kicking off the evening and sharing his entrepreneurial journey!

This year’s lineup featured 12 incredible chilis, each with its own creative twist.

🏆 Noah took home the Best Overall Chili title, impressing everyone and winning by a huge margin.
🌶️ Brandon defended his crown and once again claimed victory in the Spiciest Chili category!
