Did you know????

Northwest Tool has a robot! We added a Mazak 5 Axis Mill with a Fanuc Robot CRX-25iA to our machine fleet this fall, and now have the ability to run unattended! This allows a machinist to program and setup the robot, then run other machines while the robot runs parts for them.

Our second year of raking leaves for Make A Difference Day through the United Way was a success! We were happy to help 14 homeowners get their leaves taken care of yesterday!

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of a friend and long-time employee, Josh Krause. Anyone who worked with Josh, knew he was always ready to help out a coworker, step up and take on a project, or even provide a laugh or smile.

Josh started at Northwest Tool when he was 16 years old as a custodian, and over the next 31 years he became an invaluable member of our team through hard work and determination. Josh was an excellent machinist and found his primary home in our VKii mill. He was also a skilled welder, built/repaired dies, and was a member of our ISO audit team, among many, many other tasks he took on. After 31 years, however, Josh was so much more than an integral member of our team; he was a friend.

We extend our deepest condolences to Josh’s family, friends, and anyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

Rest in Peace, Josh. You will be greatly missed by your Northwest Tool family.
