MMW ( Maki's Metal Works ) Welding and fabrication I Am here to provide an expert hand at Welding and Custom Fabrication for all those in need of a skilled tradesmans service.

I specialize in all types of welding processes and repair work, and fabrication. I have been a welder for the last 11 years and have done a lot of different kinds of work so there is not much that I have not seen, and if there is something I have not seen or had my hands in I have many other fellow tradesman who have been around as long as me or longer who are more than willing to take care of the

problem with me. My process skills include Standard MIG, Flux Cored MIG, SMAW ( stick) all electrodes, TIG welding on All kinds of material ( carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum, magnesium), As well as Aluminum MIG, and I can provide cutting services with Air Carbon Arc, and Oxy Acetelene torch cutting. I have the ability to work on pieces for customers at my shop or I am a mobile welder as well. So I have the ability to travel to get to where you are. If anyone is looking for a really nice setup for a welder, let me know. This is my step dads fathers old welder. It is currently out in Ogden Utah, but it could always be brought back here or if you wanted to take a trip, you could go pick it up. If anyone is interested, let me know. Really nice setup for a big shop or if you just want to have a big machine and burn rod, here you go.

My little guy laying down his first weld beads and he did damn good. He said he wanted to make a T and he did just that. He is not afraid to do any of the things I do. Heck he wanted to help me weld in a new quarter panel into a truck bed a few weeks back. So glad he is interested in working with his hands like me. Proud dad right here 😁👍🏻👍🏻

Latest project, a little cast iron repair for a customer. A cast iron Hall tree from the late 1800's. Looks to have been knocked over at some time in it's life and hit hard but luckily all the pieces went right back together again like a perfect puzzle.

My new drivers side rear rocker panel that just showed up today, this is the last thing to be welded in on the Burb. Then it is do a bunch of sealing and priming and then painting. I am however not going to paint the rocker panels and the door bottoms. I am going to use the same bed liner kit I used on my Ram called Al's liner which is color tintable to match your vehicle and it worked awesome on my Ram.

Big rust spots all cleaned up, mudded in and primed up. Now I just need to hit the rest with some 320 grit and re paint ...

Big rust spots all cleaned up, mudded in and primed up. Now I just need to hit the rest with some 320 grit and re paint it and I think I am going to paint the cowl the same silver as the side stripe on the truck. And the rest will be blue. Tell me if that's a good plan or not. And be honest.
