It's a double celebration today! We are cheering for Fluid Power Professionals Day and the birthday of Blaise Pascal. Born in 1623, Pascal discovered how air and fluid pressure work. His smart ideas gave birth to modern pneumatics.

Founded by SMC Corporation of America in 2021, National Pneumatics Day is celebrated on April 27 which was the same date SMC was established in 1959. Over the decades, SMC has grown into the largest supplier of pneumatic components for industrial automation.
