The Stream Dx Home Uroflow Service allows doctors to collect urine flow data from their patients at home to improve healthcare outcomes.

Alligator Holdings LLC’s ACI-Industries – Waukesha team, was honored to host a tour and educational event in conjunction with Above and Beyond the Playground. Above & Beyond is a newly formed nonprofit business providing academic and athletic mentoring programs for middle school, high school and early college students in the city of Milwaukee. Their mission is to create hope and opportunity for student-athletes by preparing them for life beyond the game.

Along with a tour of ACI’s manufacturing floor and quality lab, students met with members of the ACI project management team and participated in a workshop that demonstrated how all the various roles involved in production (purchasing, materials, equipment, machining…) integrate their efforts to create products or components for the customer and their end-user.

The focus of this two-day event was the value of education - mathematics, in particular – in helping to shape the future of these student-athletes. Our collective goal was to demonstrate the variety of solid career opportunities available in our local manufacturing community. If your company is in the Milwaukee area, we urge you to partner with Above and Beyond the Playground and support the vision of the group’s Director Deonte Tatum. This group is making a difference!

Thank you to Anthony Christian, Instructor at Arrowhead High School, for inviting us to sit in during a shop class. Alligator Holdings LLC is working with A.J. Schweda and Premier Machine Tool Midwest to help support and expand the opportunities for Arrowhead manufacturing students and to further the success of the curriculum developed by Anthony and the Technology and Engineering Education Department.
