Sometimes its been fun, sometimes not, but we think we provided a valued service to the Watertown area, by helping 3 new Watertown bakeries & multiple out-of-town food businesses get started here. More simple food business ideas, Watertown and Oconomowoc have morning farmers markets. Could you make "take and eat breakfast parfait jars?" A half pint or pint canning jar with layered yogurt and fruit, With a container of granola attached and a spoon. Instant healthy walking treat for kids and adults. Or maybe a"salad in a jar" traditional lettuce veggie salad or a dessert salad. Again add a plastic fork and you have an instant treat. Or sell them to businesses for healthy lunches for their employees. A food business does not have to be complex. You will need a food license and a commercial kitchen to make these and we can help.
