Pedaling with purpose 🚲

KPFF is joining industry peers for Bike MS: Chesapeake Challenge 2026, supporting the National MS Society and its work to improve the lives of people affected by multiple sclerosis.

The ride is a meaningful opportunity to connect with our AEC community beyond project work, support an important cause, and show up alongside partners and peers who care about making an impact.

We’re grateful to join the effort and help bring visibility to the work of the National MS Society.

Every engineer has a story, and Andy Kassavetis’ starts with the power of genuine passion.

When asked how we can inspire and support the next generation of engineers, Andy shared that people can sense when passion is real. By finding what makes our work meaningful and speaking to that with authenticity, we can create a stronger connection and a greater impact on those coming next.

His perspective is a reminder that inspiration does not always begin with a lecture or a lesson. Sometimes it starts with seeing someone who truly cares about what they do and why it matters.

Spring in DC is hard to beat. A few of our team members took a lunch break walk to the Tidal Basin yesterday to catch the cherry trees in peak bloom. It was a simple moment to step outside, enjoy the season, and take in one of the city’s most iconic views.
