4 years ago, this group of fine young men visited while we were extracting honey!
I often wonder if any of them became beekeepers!

Good afternoon friends!
There's 2 things I'm not a huge fan of, but they're both something I have to overcome.
Change and technology!
When my 9 year old phone finally needs replacing, I'm forced to deal with both!
That phone cost me $140. I never figured I'd have to spend much more than that to reach my frustration level!!
Viewing hours will be tonight from 6:00-8:00
Graveside services will begin at 9:00 tomorrow mornin......

Good Tuesday mornin friends!
When I was a little critter, I remember makin ice-cream with my Ma and Pa. I wanted to carry on that tradition, but opted for the electric version, as I remember not bein too fond of the hand crankin.........
Gracie Mae had to taste test every piece of ice she put in......salty fingers and all!

Good Monday mornin friends!
Holy cow!!!
What a day at the Schoharie County Farmers Market yesterday!
I didn't get a chance to get any photos unfortunately, but our winner of the 5lb honey, Heather Fancher, stopped to pick up her honey, and I had a great visit with her!
So many new visitors this week! Many from out of town taking advantage of the long weekend!
Thank you to all that stopped by for a chat!
It truly makes my day talking about our bees in Schoharie County, and what it takes to keep them healthy enough to produce a quality honey crop!
Many visitors asking if we are open for "tours"!
We'll be pulling our fall crop in 2-3 weeks, and will be open on weekends for visitors to stop in and see how we extract our honey!

I did get a chance to bottle some more of our darker autumn harvest that is starting to become a favorite of many!
