Some additional photos of the parts coming together for the set of custom rudder we are developing.

We collaborated with our partners at KryptoQuiet and helped this customer upgrade their rudderpost diameter by 1/4” without having to change the rudderports.
KryptoQuiet produces custom bearings and we machined the post to allow the original arms and steering components to remain the same.

We saved our client time and money by being a little creative.

Our welder is USCG approved and we offer laser and plasma cutting services and CNC lathe work.
We sourced all the XM-19 (AQ22 HS) post, and the 3/4” 316L material in less than 5 days.

Our new rapid prototyping printer is so accurate we built in the ID of the bearing, allowing the client to actually mount the sample on the boat and install the shaft to assure proper alignment and fit.
