HSI Services, Inc. commenced operations in 1996 with the vision of providing cost-effective temporary cofferdam systems in the construction industry for water inflated dams. The result was our first product, the patented Aqua-Barrier water-filled cofferdam. The WIPP (Water Inflated Property Protector), now Aqua-Barrier Flood Protection, was introduced in 2001 as an innovative way to control invasive floodwaters. The Aqua-Barrier Flood Protection’s unique characteristics, such as ease of installation and removal and re-usability, have revolutionized flood protection. HSI Services later received a patent for the end pipe loops that allow for smooth installation in even the roughest of waters. The pipe loop has become one of the most convenient design features that make the Aqua-Barrier easy and quick to install! Miles of Aqua-Barrier Flood Protection have been sold throughout the world and have protected both people and property.
