Did you know that Husqvarna Saw's are the only one that allows the use of Carbide Blades? Others deny this use by negating Gaurantee's , Liability Coverage and damage replacement.
Husqvarna Saw's Ok the use to Fire Department's, Police and Rescue Squads that have been trained in their use and they do it in writing if asked for. Fire Hooks Unlimited is a proud distributor of of this company. We have designed Carbide Blades to be used on all of their saws used by the Fire Department of New York.
We just delivered 153 K-12 with blades to the F.D.N.Y. this week.

Did you know that all hook heads used by Fire Hooks Unlimited are dropped forged. Although more expensive to make, FHU feels it's more important to make a stronger tool then a less expensive casting type. The hardest tool to make is our NewYorker and our National due to core requirements. Lot's of time and waste but both are as strong as one can make and we are proud to do so. We at Fire Hooks Unlimited Chamfer all drill holes on our Force Wedges to eliminate sharp edges left after drilling to reduce any injury while handling with ungloved hands. We also polish the wedge's not only for look's but to remove any burr's left by saw cut's.
