Last month, our team grabbed trash bags and headed out into the community.

We're proud participants in the City of Walker's Adopt-a-Road program. We've adopted a 3-mile stretch of road that we're committed to keeping clean and cared for, because the communities we build in deserve that same dedication.

A big thank you to the City for providing the safety gear and materials that made this possible. It's an honor to be part of a program that keeps our community clean!

We're excited to announce the successful completion of the DeWitt and Kinley Road improvement project! This wasn't just a resurfacing job — it was a strategic upgrade to build stronger, safer roads for our community and the commercial vehicles that use them daily.

Our work included:

• Reconstructing DeWitt Road to all-season standards.
• Improving key intersections for better safety and traffic flow.
• Widening Kinley Road to accommodate truck traffic.

Proud to have delivered this $3.2 million, MEDC-funded project under budget, maximizing the value of public funds. It's another example of our commitment to building better communities through engineering and of our longstanding partnership with the Clinton County Road Commission.

We're thrilled to have wrapped up two key projects with The City of Grand Rapids. Our work focused on strengthening core infrastructure for the community:

🚧 Boston Street Reconstruction: A complete transformation from Fuller to Plymouth, featuring 3,600 feet of watermain, lead water service replacement, storm sewer improvements, HMA pavement reconstruction, bike facilities, neighborhood traffic circles, ADA ramps, and pavement markings with permanent signage.

💧 Leonard/Crahen Watermain: Installed 3,800 feet of watermain to create a critical loop, enhancing water quality for local residents and schools.

Our team also provided the construction administration and inspection that brought these vital projects to life. We're honored to partner with the City in building a more resilient and connected Grand Rapids!

We’re proud to have partnered with the City of Kentwood on the resurfacing of 52nd Street from Division to Eastern and Breezefield to Broadmoor (M-37), completed through the MDOT Local Agency Program.

The project included full pavement replacement, new ADA ramps, curb and gutter repairs, and a pedestrian refuge island near Kelloggsville Elementary — all completed while coordinating with MDOT’s nearby M-37 reconstruction.

📍 Construction Cost: $2.8 million
📅 Completed: June – August 2025

Our team had a great time earlier this week giving back to the community through the City of Walker’s 𝘈𝘥𝘰𝘱𝘵 𝘢 𝘙𝘰𝘢𝘥 program! Big thanks to our friends and neighbors at Triangle Associates for hosting a fun after-party to celebrate a successful cleanup.

We’re excited to welcome Carson White to the LRE team! Carson joined us earlier this summer after earning his BS in Environmental Engineering from Central Michigan University, where he was also a proud member of the cross-country team.

Carson brings a strong passion for water resource engineering, and outside of work, he enjoys playing sports, meeting new people and — according to team sources — blasting music in the work truck.
