🏁🔨A big congratulations to the 9th Annual Walhalla Building Center Inc. Wissota Auto Racing Midwest Mod Golden Hammer Classic Winner - 🥇 Boxcar Brand Jory Berg!
Also, congratulations goes out to🥈 Memphis Klassen for taking 2nd place and congrats to his brother 🏎️💨 Malachi Klassen for earning the Hard Charger Award. He made his way up to finish 4th from starting in 20th position! Our 💵$100 Kid’s Drawing winner went out to Kaden Needham (pictured with Jory).

We couldn’t have done this big night without the help of a few racing teams/families. A big thank you to Dietzler Electric ( #39 Jamie Dietzler) for donating 💰$100 each to the 3rd and 9th place finishers. Also, a big thank you to Lake Region Sheet Metal ( #111 Jason Halvorson) for donating 💰$100 to the Hard Charger finisher!

Big shoutout and thank you to Haugland Farms (Haugland Racing) for providing the 🚲kids bikes and Tanner Armstrong family for the 🛴scooters. Those were all a huge hit!!! Also, thank you to Dustin Strand Millenium Chassis / SRT Specialties for making all the winner/award checks.💵

Finally, thank you to all the drivers, pit crews, fans, and families for coming out to watch and support this event. It was (yet again) a great, action-packed night of racing!🔨🏁

🔨Congratulations to the 7th Annual Golden Hammer Classic NLRA winner #71 Dustin Strand Racing! Also a big congratulations to the second place finisher #12 Chad Becker. What a thriller of a race!

Thank you to the Millenium Chassis / SRT Specialties for making the winner checks. Special thanks to Dirt Race Central for televising this event as well!

Other winners of the evening went to Bailey Cousins for Wissota Midwest Mod. Also, congrats to Stoney Kruk for winning the Wissota Street Stock. Joe Armstrong took the checkered for Purestocks as well.

WOW, 43 late models checked in to race for the big show. Thank you to all the drivers, pit crews, families and friends (especially those who traveled from afar) for coming out to the Devils Lake Speedway!

We will see you back in action for the 9th Annual Golden Hammer Classic Wissota Midwest Mod at the Devils Lake Speedway on July 26th!🔨

Congratulations to this year's 6th Annual Golden Hammer Classic Late Model winner - Tyler Peterson Racing. Also, a big congratulations to the 2nd place finisher - #17 Mike Greseth.
The lucky winner of the $100 kids drawing went to Kenzie and as pictured, was able to stand with Tyler in victory lane!
The $200 Hard Charger Award went to #5 Shane Edginton.

We would like to give a big thank you to Northdale Oil- Walhalla for the delicious and plentiful lunch spread today! They hooked us up with made fresh deli sandwiches, numerous salads, and strudel treats. Did you guys know they cater?! Need any info on what they offer?! Congratulations to Pederson Racing Joey Pederson on winning the 5th Annual Golden Hammer Classic - NLRA Late Model race last Saturday, August 19th! Pictured with Joey is Lilly, who had the winning ticket number for the Kids $100 raffle. She was very excited to get her picture with Joey!

Congratulations to #28 Brennon Weight on winning the 2023 7th Annual Walhalla Building Center Midwest Mod Golden Hammer Classic. Congratulations also goes out to Jory Berg on his 2nd place finish.

The Hard Charger $50 winner this year was #29 Cylen Vargason. He started from the 22nd position and finished 12th! Thank you to Backstretch Productions for sponsoring this award.

A special thank you to Lakota Dairy Queen, TJB Construction. Owner Travis Bachmeier, Millenium Chassis / SRT Specialties, and the Devils Lake Speedway for all your help in making this Golden Hammer Classic a success!

Thank you to the KEM Shrine Shriners for coming and participating in the national anthem. We raced with heavy hearts after what transpired on Friday in Fargo, and words cannot be expressed for the wonderful tribute by Seth Klostreich and Gunnar for the fallen Fargo PD officer Jake Wallin during the anthem. Our thoughts and prayers are with the families, friends, and loved ones affected by this tragedy.

A big thank you to everyone that came out to watch another fun night of racing. The racers put on a great show, even though Mother Nature cut the Midwest Mod short.

As a reminder, the 5th Annual Golden Hammer NLRA Late Model Classic has been re-scheduled for August 19th. We will be selling t-shirts and hoodies that day with all proceeds going towards Kem Shriners.

It's GOLDEN HAMMER weekend at the Devils Lake Speedway! The 7th Annual Golden Hammer Wissota Midwest B-Mod Classic will be taking place this Saturday, July 15th. We will have our trailer there to sell t-shirts and hoodies.
