Company Overview:
S.A. Meier Co. of Milwaukee, Inc. is a distributor and service provider of force, material testing, and torque products to manufacturing companies. Our customers use our equipment to perform quality control tests on their products. Many of our customers’ products are common items we use on a daily basis; such as, flip caps on bottles, food storage bags, pens, etc.
Employment Type:
Full-time or part-time
Compensation:
Full-time salary: $30,000-$50,000, depending on relevant education, training and experience. Part-time salary is prorated. Opportunities are available for pay raises, bonuses and commission.

Responsibilities:
Calibrate/troubleshoot/repair force gages, torque gages, test stands, material test systems, and weighing scales in our lab and at customer locations. Provide technical assistance to personnel within the company and to customers. Use software for data entry, determine test stand capabilities, and provide support to customers. Assist with other duties as assigned, such as, shipping and receiving of equipment, quoting.
Work Conditions:
• Location: Our office/lab in Wales, WI. Our office has a collaborative team atmosphere. Periodic travel (non-overnight) to customers in SE WI will be required. Opportunities are available for statewide and/or out-of-state travel to customer locations.
• Physical: Calibration activities require lifting 50 # weights (sometimes repetitively).
• Equipment: Requires working with the proprietary software programs.
• Schedule: 8:00am to 4:30pm. Ability to accommodate a part-time schedule.
Experience:
• Required: High school diploma/GED, experience using tools, and experience using computer programs and software.
• Preferred: Electrical and/or Mechanical technical degree, technical training, and/or work experience
Other Qualifications:
• Valid WI driver’s license and good driving record
• Good problem-solving skills
• Detail oriented
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and structure your own work week
• Ability to interact effectively with co-workers and customers
