Returning for her 2nd Festival on June 14, Melissa Fournier is a cyanotype artist focused on sustainable, wearable art with Nature driven themes. Having always loved fashion and personal expression, she has turned her talents to custom clothing. She started Mellifera Modern, a brand comprised of handmade fine art and sustainable one-of-a-kind fashion. For her sustainably is as important as the art itself, so she makes many of her clothing pieces on secondhand and vintage items. Click on the photos. www.melliferamodern.com

First Time Festival Vendor: Patrice Lumumba of Kitunga Fashion learned how to make baskets from his mother. Kitunga means basket in Swahili. Patrice makes beautiful Congolese baskets and handbags; his use of color is bold and fun and his products are available in different sizes, shapes and designs. The bag is made of raffia, a natural and sustainable material, which Patrice weaves by hand. Depending on the style, fabric or recycled material is added to the outer part of the raffia. Each bag closes with a drawstring or a zipper. Click through the photos below.
