A lot has changed in Wake Forest over the last 40 years — but, thankfully, some things haven’t. ❤️
The top photo takes us back roughly four decades, when our store was still Weston’s Hardware. The bottom photo was taken today — same building, same green awning, and still a neighborhood hardware store serving our community.
Wake Forest has grown and changed in ways that would have been hard to imagine back then. Businesses have come and gone, streets have transformed, and our little town has become a whole lot bigger.
But through it all, this corner of downtown has remained a hardware store — and B & W Hardware, Co. remains one of the few constants in an ever-changing Wake Forest.
Different name. Different era. Same hometown hardware store.
Since 1949 — and proud to still be here. 💚🔨
