Lily Mae's Boutique in Wake Forest North Carolina.

There were 3 Custom projects with this build.

The 1st was wrapping the double sided sales counter and back splashes with my Naturally Aged Multi colored pallet wood. This was to add accents and warmth, which you see as soon as you walk in the door!

The 2nd was a Custom built to size, Barn Board bench with solid steel legs and adjustable feet. Barn Boards and metal were both sealed with a satin lacquer finish to protect and preserve.

The 3rd project was 4 custom size mirrors wrapped in Barn Wood. Lightly sanded and sealed with a clear satin lacquer finish.

The one major request for this build was that everything needed to be splinter and snag free, "Since it was a clothing store" but still have that naturally aged look and character my work is known for. So every piece of wood was lightly sanded to prevent splinters or snags and yet keep its Naturally aged color and character in every piece!

These 3 Custom build and finished projects by Wood Iron Studio, really added to the warmth and character of this store and set it apart from other "Plan Jane" department style stores by adding to is charm of gifts and boutiques it is filled with.

Wood Iron Studio designed and converted this completely non functional Coffee table into a Beautiful and functional centerpiece for an out door patio set.
The Brushed Stainless Steel frame is made of a 2"x2" Stainless steel that surrounds the original wood table top. There are 4, 316 grade stainless steel standoffs that supports a 30" x 44" x 1/4" thick Tempered glass top. This table stands 17" tall with stainless steel adjustable feet for easy leveling.
The Client and myself went through 4 or 5 different design styles and material types before choosing to go with this one.
Once delivered, the Client said and I quote. "Absolutely Stunning work! Your photos did not do this piece justice. I absolutely love it and I never say that about anyone's work! You have Truly out done yourself and exceeded our expectations again!"
To be told by your client that the 5 pieces of work you built as accents for their home are loved more than the Custom built house itself, is one hell of a Thank you!!

Custom designed and built to fit, two-person nail salon table for the Larkspur Salon Spa in Wakefield N.C. The table dimensions are 18in deep by 5 ft wide standing about 30 in high, with a brushed stainless inlay, topped with quarter inch tempered glass and center cabinet. The light weight painted metal frame and center cabinet is wrapped with aged pallet wood to give it that warm Rustic feel. The Brushed stainless adds a more Modern feel along with being an easy to clean surface. To make this table as versatile as possible we decided to add low profile Wheels, to help make moving this table a cinch. The finishing touch to this table is the custom cut and brushed aluminum larkspur flower logo added to the front. The table also breaks down into four sections for easy Transportation and storage.

3' x 7' Naturally Aged Multi color Accent Business sign for Johnson Collision located in Wakefield. Hand-lettered, lettering with custom font by Steve Filarsky with "Signs by Steve"

This was a very cool job where everyone in the company donated $5 to surprise their Boss with a custom sign for his business, as a thank you and Christmas present. Remember Johnson Collision in Wakefield for all your auto body needs.

Naturally aged grey Accent Wine Niche. This was to small of a space to prefabricate in the studio. Hand picked board by board installation. The naturally aged Oak 2x4s were ripped down from 2 larger beams. This ties in great with the bouns room upstairs. Custom fabrication and installation by Wood Iron Studio

Naturally aged, all Gray accent wall. This is one of 2 rooms that was done in a newly built home in Wake Forest. Roughly 20' wide x 9' tall. Since the walls are pre-fabricated in my shop, the installation of this wall took less than a day. A gorgeous addition to a beautiful home.

Custom built to fit, large Rustic Barn Door. Hand fabricated, custom length, metal hanging track with matching three-quarter inch double Twisted solid metal handles. Built out of an assortment of Maple and Oak. The wood used for this door was milled from 180 year old trees from an estate in Virginia. Large 2 and 1/2 in thick outer casing with 1 inch thick planks. Although this wood was naturally aged, all the the visiable cut edges were artificially aged to give this door a naturally aged appearance, adding to its already rustic character.
