This small welding positioner has been a game changer!!

I was introduced to welding in 2009 as a sophomore in high school. Seventeen years later, it’s still a craft I take a great deal of pride in.

Over the course of my adult life, I’ve had the opportunity to work with several respected companies in addition to building my own. That experience has allowed me to work across multiple industries—mining, agriculture, automotive, and energy to name a few.

While I’ve had strong mentors along the way, much of my development came from time invested outside of the job. Ten years ago, before my house was even fully furnished, I had already equipped the shop with new Lincoln Electric machines and was spending every night i could, cutting and welding coupons. YES! Practicing!

Welding is a skill that demands patience and continual improvement. Even after 17 years, I’m still learning, still refining, and still committed to doing things the right way.

April marks National Welding Month—a good reminder to recognize the trades, the discipline behind them, and the people who take pride in their work!
