We had some visitors on Friday 👀

There have been a HANDFUL of Konecky’s that have attended the Nebraska Ag Youth Institute and also been members of the , so when they called to ask about a tour for their industry tours we were excited to host! It’s only one of the best opportunities in the country for our Nebraska Youth to see a future in agriculture and we’re here for it!

We hope that these future ag leaders see a future on the farm that can be more than corn and cows if they want it to🐮🌽

Catwalk foldable railing in action! The rail is spring assisted to make raising the railing a little less work. Which was far easier than setting up an air or hyd. cylinder & mounts to raise and lower the railing!

Some recent semi tractor & trailer modifications we made for customers rigs. The SS bumper guard we modified by cutting the middle section of the mid bar for the customer. The bar was preventing his adaptive cruise control from working. We added some customized SS formed sheet with crosses to personalize the customer's truck as well as get his cruise control operational! The bulk trailer came in for a vertical auger repair issue. Seeing the customer up walking/crawling around up on the catwalk on the windy day he dropped it off had us concerned a bit. We upsold a foldable railing to go along the catwalk atop the trailer to make walking on top a bit safer for them!

Things have finally slowed down a little around the shop this week. Which allowed us to get some things taken care of here in the shop for ourselves. One of which was finishing up the CNC plasma operator workstation. We fabricated a hinged SS encasement for the computer, monitor, keyboard, and mouse. Allowing us to turn the delicate hardware away from flying sparks while the plasma is in operation. There was even the perfect spot for our xbox controller along with its magnetic contact charging pad. Which we use for wirelessly moving and positioning the torch heads around the table. We also added a fan housing to the outside of the encasement to keep air flowing around the computer allowing it to stay as cool as possible!
