Atlas Copco Comptec held a food drive competition recently between departments. Although our R&D group won the competition, as a whole we managed to donate 5,492 food items (greater than 20 items for every person working in our company)! Six pick up trucks full of food were delivered to local food pantries this morning. Happy Thanksgiving!

On going commissioing activity taking place in Ruwais, UAE at Takreer Oil Refinery Company. Atlas Copco has supplied a total of four, three stage H machines, two motor driven and two steam turbine driven. This new machinery will provide instrument air to the plants latest expansion. Look for updates as we begin work on the steam driven compressors.

Commissioning recently came to a close for the three SC-10 fuel gas compressors in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The machines are currently providing natural gas for Emirates Aluminum phase II power plant. These machines bring a unique twist to Atlas Copco Comptec compressors with controls powered by GE Fanuc. Phase I compressors continue to provide a reliable energy source to the plant, phase II should prove no different. Thanks to everyone who helped make this job another success.
