Let’s take a minute to appreciate the driveshaft……
Nobody ever mentions how tough or great their driveshaft is. It has to be tougher than the toughest component or it will fail and it takes all of the abuse. Nothing takes more. You can’t see it or hear it and it’s never mentioned in conversation until it fails, usually because it’s been beaten and abused or improperly installed. But it will be the driveshaft’s fault. There’s always excuses for engines, transmissions, really anything. But not the driveshaft. The excuse would be “piece of junk was fine?!” So, appreciate your driveshaft.
With all these warm thoughts of my driveshaft now, I’ll still be mad if I break one.… because it’s the driveshaft lol

Here’s the ‘55. I’m looking for a 4” stroke crank for a 396 if anyone knows of one? I’m also looking for the correct rods and pistons for this combination.
I did score some valve covers, water pump, alternator, pulleys, heater that won’t work on the ‘55 so it’s for sale (big block specific, but not enough firewall in mine), and a flex plate

The Resurrection Chop Shop is undergoing major changes. I will continue to maintain the custom equipment I’ve built, and a couple yet to finish.
But I’m done.
I started machining because I love motorcycles,
I have developed the same love for machining over the past 25 years. Well, now I can make stuff, build stuff, and I have the shop to do it in.
This transformation will take time, and there are priorities that will come first.
But it’s my shop, and I want to build some freakin’ motorcycles! I’ve had one cruising around my head for the past 20 years, so I’m gonna start with a pile of materials and get to choppin’!
Sorry, I can’t handle it anymore. I’m building it.

Enjoy the video.
