Tory R. Walker Engineering Water Resources Management Tory R. Numerous projects have included conceptual plans that specify grading, drainage, and erosion control methods.

Walker Engineering (TRWE) offers services in watershed, floodplain and storm water management, river restoration, flood facilities design, and sedimentation and erosion. Averaging 25 years of experience, TRWE’s Professional Engineers have analyzed and/or designed many hydraulic structures, including flood channels, storm water quality facilities, and detention, retention, and debris basins. The te

am has also completed regional drainage master plans, hydrologic model calibrations, and numerous hydromodification studies. TRWE has specialized experience in innovative flood control designs, high-quality habitat restoration planning, successful permitting strategies, and thorough administration of construction implementation. Team members have significant experience addressing CEQA issues related to surface water, and preparing the necessary technical reports. Many of those projects have extended into the construction phase with coordination for design, observation, monitoring, and inspection. Combining flood control expertise with the study of rivers and creeks has helped create solutions and designs that blend with the natural beauty of the water bodies. TRWE is known for using natural materials whenever possible, to design flood control elements such as grade control and weir structures. The TRWE team takes great pride in understanding the complexities of watersheds and the drainage systems within each watershed, and continually stays abreast of ever-changing rules and regulations. The extensive use of industry-recognized, state-of-the art software for hydrologic and hydraulic modeling translates into reliable results for clients.

Water is something many of us rarely think twice about. But for many around the world, clean, reliable water is not guaranteed.

This year, in honor of World Water Day, TRW Engineering is partnering with you to help change lives at Casa Hogar Alegre, a children’s home in Chiapas, Mexico.

Our goal is to raise $8,500 to build a well that will provide the children with consistent access to water for cooking, hygiene, and daily life.

Partner with us and help bring clean water to Casa Hogar Alegre.

Water is one of the most powerful forces in nature. We depend on it, we admire it, and we value the beauty it brings to our environment.

But we also know that unmanaged stormwater can disrupt our day-to-day lives… flooded roads, damaged infrastructure, commute delays, safety risks, and impacts on local ecosystems.

That’s where we step in.

Our mission is to design systems where nature and society coexist in harmony:
✔️ Resilient infrastructure
✔️ Sustainable water management
✔️ Protection for homes, businesses, and communities
✔️ Solutions that respect both people and the environment

Because when engineered thoughtfully, water isn’t a problem to solve—it’s a partner in creating healthier, safer, and more resilient communities.

Building harmony between nature and the built environment—one project at a time.

“From the rivers of Kenya where I grew up, to the waterways of the western United States, my career has been shaped by a lifelong dedication to understanding and managing the natural flow of water. What began as a childhood curiosity sitting beside rivers in Africa has grown into nearly 40 years of work in stormwater and water resources engineering. Today, I’m grateful to continue developing innovative, sustainable solutions that help communities live in harmony with the environment.” - Tory Walker, PE, CFM, QISP

We are excited to introduce you to Jessica Canales, the newest addition to our team!

Jessica joined the TRWE team in April 2025 as a Junior Engineer with a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering from the University of Oklahoma. She has 2 years of experience in water resources, transportation design, and land development and is skilled in modeling through the use of HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, Arc-GIS, HydroCAD, HydraFlow, and HY-8. Her passion lies within hydraulic and hydrologic analyses, stormwater quality, flood studies, and habitat restoration. Ms. Canales' diverse background allows her to see all pieces of a project together and how water resources fit into the big picture.

Welcome, Jessica!
