Today, A&M had the honor of leading a tactical urbanism safety improvement for the City of Selma by installing a colored crosswalk to help improve visibility and enhance student safety.

These hands-on, quick-build improvements are a powerful way to make streets safer—fast—while building momentum for long-term infrastructure upgrades. A&M is proud to be a Central Valley leader in delivering practical, community-first street safety projects like this.

This is what commitment looks like: safer crossings, stronger neighborhoods, and infrastructure that protects the people who use it most.

Huge thank you to the Selma–Kingsburg–Fowler County Sanitation District for the incredible tour of the wastewater treatment plant today. 🙌

Today A&M had the privilege of accepting the APWA Central California Chapter – Public Works Project of the Year (Structures) award for the Gateway Park Project in the City of Corcoran.

Gateway Park is home to something truly special for our region: Corcoran’s new pump track. Designed for riders of all ages and skill levels, it features progressive lines for beginners through advanced riders, smooth asphalt surfacing, and a layout that encourages families to ride, watch, and be part of the action together. The track has already become a daily gathering place for local kids and families—and this year it even hosted its first world-level pump track tournament in the Central Valley, putting Corcoran on the map in a big way.

At A&M Consulting Engineers, this is exactly why we do what we do. Our work isn’t just about plans, specs, and construction details. It’s about helping cities create safe, active public spaces where community can grow—places like Gateway Park, where a pump track isn’t just a project, it’s a point of pride. We are more than engineering—we’re about strengthening community.

Thank you to the City of Corcoran Public Works Department, our team at A&M, Todd Companies, and the APWA Central California Chapter for the partnership and recognition. I’m proud of what we’ve built together and even more excited to see how Corcoran continues to use this space for everyday fun and future events.
