Hundreds of TSA Lost & Found Treasures and Airport Surplus Head to Online Public Auction at Norfolk International Airport, ending on October 20
Norfolk, VA — October 15, 2026 – Scott Freeman, Auctioneer with Auction757.com will host an online public auction on behalf of Norfolk International Airport on Tuesday, October 20, 2026 featuring approximately 215 lots of lost and found (TSA) items, plus airport surplus, and an abandoned vehicle. Online bidding is open now at Auction757.com and potential bidders are encouraged to inspect the items, in person, on Monday, October 19, 2026, before bidding.
The catalog includes jewelry, earbuds and other electronics, new clothing, designer sunglasses, new luggage, and a wide range of airport surplus, including industrial equipment – with many brand new items. The abandoned vehicle was driven into the airport and never claimed; the winning bidder will receive paperwork to obtain a title through the DMV.
"This is one of the most popular auctions we conduct," said Scott Freeman, Auctioneer. "Travelers leave behind everything from fine jewelry and personal electronics to brand-new luggage, and the public gets a shot at all of it – right from a phone or computer."
Bidding closes on October 20, beginning with Lot 1 at 10:30 AM, and 1 lot closing every 45 seconds thereafter. Bidders must be 18 or older and are encouraged to inspect items in person before bidding. An in-person preview will be held October 19, from 9AM to 1PM, at 6170 Miller Store Rd, Norfolk, in the fire training building. Winning bidders may pick up items on Thursday, October 22, from 9AM to 1PM, by appointment only. Payment is cash only, with a cashier’s check accepted for the vehicle purchase. All items are sold as-is, where-is and all sales are final.
