Thanks also goes to Keep Iowa Beautiful whose Paint Iowa Beautiful Grant with Diamond Vogel have made the mural and “movie screen” possible. As well as Cooney's Hardware for the use of the building, and the Villisca Advent Christian Church for the use of their parking lot and lawn for seating. Can’t wait to kick off Villisca Heritage Days & All Class Reunion with what is sure to be a new favorite event.

Coming soon to downtown is an outdoor theater space for community movie nights! Thanks to the Keep Iowa Beautiful grant, you'll soon see work being done for the completion of a new mural, the first step in bringing a summer movie series to Villisca. Thank you to Joe's Portables and Cooney's Hardware for the use of their property as a backdrop for this project.
