From Access Challenge to Long-Term Solution

Our customer needed a hopper replaced inside a Kaolin storage bin, there was one major problem: the existing access opening was too small to safely complete the work or service the equipment in the future.

PAUL'S was brought in to engineer and execute a solution.

✅ Re-supported the bin using rolled 12" channel inside and out
✅ Added 12" C-channel columns and structural stiffeners
✅ Installed 16 additional anchors to improve wind load resistance
✅ Expanded the access area with double doors for future maintenance
✅ Replaced the hopper with zero safety incidents

The result? A safer, stronger structure that allows easier maintenance for years to come.

That's a wrap on !

After six incredible days on the International Manufacturing Technology Show floor, it's time to tear down the booth and head home. We couldn't be more proud of the Paul's team for their dedication, professionalism, and energy brought all week long, from setup to teardown and everything in between.

Over the course of the show, we connected with customers, industry partners, and manufacturing leaders from across the country, securing 109 new connections and countless opportunities for future collaboration.

A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth, shared their challenges, and explored how PAUL'S can support their manufacturing goals.

Most importantly, thank you to our team (Ken, Josh, Austin, and Matt) 🙏🏻. Long days, early mornings, late evenings, and unwavering commitment made this week a success.

While the International Manufacturing Technology Show continues to be one of the best places to meet customers face-to-face, many purchasing decisions are now starting online and through AI-powered search tools long before a buyer ever reaches out.

That realization challenge us all - to think differently - about how we share our story.
