Full job description:
•We are seeking a skilled dependable Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our growing team. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in quality work, values safety, and has hands-on experience to diagnose and repair a wide range of construction and earthmoving equipment.
Responsibilities:
•Diagnose and repair mechanical issues in heavy equipment, including transmissions, hydraulics.
•Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure optimal performance and safety.
•Utilize hand tools and diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot and resolve problems.
•Collaborate with team members to complete repairs efficiently and maintain high-quality service standards.
•Maintain accurate records of service and repairs performed on equipment.
Qualifications:
•Proven experience as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic
•Familiarity with hydraulics, Diesel and gas engines
•Experience with heavy equipment operation, including excavators and skidsteers
•Ability to read and interpret schematics and perform fabrication tasks
•Customer service skills and experience as a service technician
Requirements:
•Proven experience working on heavy equipment (Bobcat, Case, Cat, John Deere ETC.
•Strong diagnostic and repair skills (Hydraulics, electrical, diesel engines, ETC.
•Must have own tools
•Reliable transportation
•Must be dependable and able to work independently
Preferred:
•CDL (class B or A) a plus
•Welding and fabrications a plus
