Clients come to us with critical priorities that need to move forward.

For the Park District of Highland Park, that meant bringing permanent utility service to a challenging site, enabling a soccer dome’s conversion into a pickleball and padel facility.

For Round Lake Beach, it meant extending Hook Drive to improve connectivity and support the community’s growing infrastructure needs.

And for the Village of Orland Park, it meant transforming an outdated GIS program into an organized, accessible system in just two months.

Every initiative starts with a different need. But with GHA, the result is infrastructure that works today and over time.

From our early days in a garage attic to multiple offices serving clients nationwide, we're proud of our growth over 45 years and excited to keep solving for what's next.

You can see that balance in our new logo.

Our familiar green carries forward the legacy of our founders, Dave Gewalt and Bob Hamilton, and generations of GHA team members. The gradient represents that forward momentum.

The logo also has more built in than you might notice at first. Take a closer look. Do you see it?

Our clients’ infrastructure needs have evolved, and so have we.

Since 1981, we’ve grown into a full-service infrastructure firm with 14 services across data, planning, design, construction, and management.

That means we can collect and analyze data, then use it to plan infrastructure investments. We can develop engineering plans, see them through construction, and manage the infrastructure long after it’s built.

We connect expertise across disciplines so our clients can make informed decisions at every stage of the infrastructure lifecycle. That’s how we deliver infrastructure solutions that work in practice and over time.
