Our team had a great time participating in Downtown Trick-or-Treating on Friday, handing out candy and seeing all the creative costumes!

We love opportunities like this to get out in the community and connect with the families that make Vermillion such a great place to call home.

What’s in the Shop this Wednesday? 👀

Another busy month is coming to a close here in Vermillion!

From conveyors and crushing plants to wash plants, there’s plenty happening across the shop as our teams work to wrap up projects before month-end.

With October coming to a close and only two months left in the year, we’re keeping the momentum going and are ready to finish 2026 strong! 💪

Investing in the next generation of South Dakota’s workforce! 👏

With Build Dakota Scholarship Cohort 12 officially announced, we’re proud to continue supporting a program that connects students with education, hands-on careers, and opportunities right here in South Dakota.

At Masaba, we currently have Bre Russaw attending Southeast Technical College through the Build Dakota program, while Casey Miller is putting his education to work at Masaba as he fulfills his work commitment.

We’re proud to be a Build Dakota industry partner and to play a part in developing the skilled workforce that will keep South Dakota manufacturing moving forward.

Congratulations to the Cohort 12 scholars and all of the students building their futures through Build Dakota!

Freshly Finished Friday 🔥

This C120 Jaw Plant is hard at work as the primary crusher for an end user through our dealer, ICM Solutions, LLC!

One of the biggest advantages of using a jaw crusher as your primary is the reduced production of fines and lower wear costs compared to other crushing methods. This helps maximize usable material while keeping operating costs down.

From there, material moves through a Masaba Closed Circuit Plant featuring an HP350e Cone and 7x20 TD Screen before being stockpiled by a Masaba 36x150 LPFA Magnum.

From primary crushing to final stockpiling, it's great to see multiple pieces of Masaba equipment working together to keep material moving!

Another successful Dealer Meeting in the books!

Last week, we welcomed members of our dealer network to Vermillion for our annual dealer meeting. It was a great opportunity to reconnect, share company updates, discuss what's ahead, and give our dealers a firsthand look at what's happening across Masaba.

From facility tours to conversations about the future, we enjoyed spending time with the people who play such an important role in our continued success.

Thank you to all of our dealers who made the trip! We appreciate your continued partnership and look forward to another great year together.

One year ago today, we celebrated one of the biggest milestones in Masaba history!

On October 16, 2025, we officially opened the doors to the Harold Higman Fabrication Center, marking a new chapter of growth, innovation, and opportunity for Masaba Inc. and Masaba Metals.

This expansion was more than just adding square footage. It was an investment in our people, our capabilities, our community, and the future of manufacturing. Over the past year, we've continued to grow our operations, expand our capabilities, and put this facility to work.

Looking back at these photos reminds us of the incredible support we received from our employees, families, customers, partners, and community who helped make this milestone possible.

Here's to one year of growth, hard work, and new opportunities, with plenty more to come!
